The stainless steel eccentric reducer is a type of piping fittings that is used to connect pipes of different sizes. It is commonly made from stainless steel material, which is known for its strength and durability feature.
Eccentric reducer has one end that is smaller than the other end, that will be creating an eccentric shape. This special design is for can be include a gradual reduction of pipe size, which benefit for minimize pressure loss and turbulence in the fluid flow.
Stainless steel eccentric reducers are commonly used in various industries, such as Oil & Gas Project,Power Generation,Water Treatment facilities, and Chemical Processing. They are suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature applications.

Wall Thickness | 2m - 120mm |
Eccentric reducer material of stainless steel 304 contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel which has good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. As a result stainless steel 304 can provide better machining and welding performance than carbon steel of eccentric reducer.
Eccentric reducer of stainless steel 304L is a low-carbon version of 304, which has similar corrosion resistance and processing performance to 304.
Its carbon content is less than or equal to 0.03%, which reduces the carbon precipitation of 304L during welding, so that reducing the sensitivity of the weld seam. Anyway, it still better resistance in some specific corrosive environments.

Standard of SS304/L Eccentric Reducer is: ANSI / ASME B16.9 & MSS SP-43
Production Process
The shrinkage forming process of SS304L eccentric reducer is to place a pipe blank with the same diameter as the large end of the reducer into a forming die, and by pressing along the axial direction of the pipe blank, the metal moves along the mold cavity and shrinks to form. According to the size of the reducer, it is divided into one-time compression forming or multiple compression forming.
The commonly used forming processes are reduced diameter pressing, expanded diameter pressing, or reduced diameter plus expanded diameter pressing. Stamping can also be used for certain specifications of reducer pipes.
All pipes supplied by Shanghai Zhucheng Pipe Fittings are tested according to requirements of the appropriate standards. We focus on offer each and every customer with specific and profession, making us one of the top-supplier of stainless steel pipes & tubes and a reliable business partner for all industrial buyers.
